Data collection and billing solutions for EV

In May eRate was invited to speak at the German-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce about roaming for EV (Electric Vehicle) charging. eRate have broad experience with data collection and billing for mobile operators, and provide systems for complex data and billing management. This week Vidar Myrer, Commercial Manager Energy in eRate, will speak at the German -Norwegian Electric Vehicle seminar in Stuttgart; “Innovation in the transport sector: Solutions from a leading European e-mobility market”. He will also visit Berlin and speak at the German Norwegian Energy Forum “What is impacting tomorrow’s Energy Sector?”.

Explosion in electric cars in Germany

The Germans have started focusing on electric vehicles and how they can arrange for an increased electric German fleet. In July the sales of electric vehicles in Germany increased by 137% from last year, approaching a 2 percent total market share. The International Motor Show IAA in Frankfurt in September showed many new electric vehicles – coming to market.

Complex Billing Management can innovate

In Stuttgart Myrer will speak about data collection and billing solutions. He will explain the similarities between the mobile industry and the e-mobility industry, and how complex billing systems can add value through automatization and simplification of complex processes within data collection, billing and customer care. Myrer will speak about how complex billing systems can innovate the e-mobility and how new possibilities will change the Energy industry.
